Going Serverless with the Serverless Framework on AWS

In this talk we will cover how to use the Serverless Framework to build event-driven serverless applications on AWS. We will walk thru the steps required to build a Serverless application from scratch, strategies for testing, automating the build/test/deploy process with a (serverless) CI/CD pipeline and how to leverage CloudWatch and Slack for observability and notifications for our running application.

Along the way we will leverage several AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway S3, SNS, DynamoDB, CodePipeline/CodeBuild and CloudWatch.
