HTTP/2

In today's world, we all build something that involves the web. Whether it's building web applications, REST services, or REST clients, we all do some sort of web programming, but that's traditionally been HTTP 1.1. HTTP/2 is out and it's coming. Are you ready for it? Do you even know what HTTP/2 is? In this presentation, I will walk you through the important parts of HTTP/2. I will explain how HTTP/2 messages are formed and transmitted. We will look at the wire formats and communication patterns for HTTP/2 and I will demonstrate sending and receiving HTTP/2 messages over a plain TCP/IP + TLS socket without the use of client library support.
