Yoga and Breath: The tools we'll use to get there!
I am a yoga teacher and events organiser. So I know how long you folks can spend sat down at conferences or in front of your computer during hackathons! Now, of course, we love this stuff. But what if you could reduce the tension you feel in your shoulders sat at your desk? and reduce the stress you feel during sprints and tight deadlines? How can you gain more focus?
I'll show you, using my favourite and most accessible yoga and breath exercises! no leggings needed, promise!
Learning objectives
After this session/workshop you'll walk away with the knowledge of how to:
- Use your breath to create calm and focus in your body
- Move your body in simple yoga moves you can practice anywhere
- Align and move your body at your desk and
- Use meditation and mindfulness techniques (as well as understanding the difference between the two!)
- Use visualisation as a tool for success
And how to utilise yoga and meditation to gain:
Greater mobility
Improved posture
Improved circulation
Reduced muscle tension
Improved balance
Strengthened muscles
